I have an 8 year old chihuahua who is very sick. For a week, she has been vomiting green bile. The vet did surgery on her and found a few adhesions from a previous surgery. He removed the adhesions, but she continues to vomit everything she eats or drinks. The vet put her on a Canine ID dog food, but she still vomits that up also. All of her blood work has come back normal. The only abnormality is that she had blood in her stool. Last night, she began to take short shallow breaths and I thought that it was the end for her. We took her back to the vet this morning and he did a barium test on her and it was fine. She is very weak and depressed. What could be wrong with her? Awww poor baby! I assume the vet took a good look around at her organs when he did the surgery to check for tumours, anything suspicious etc?

Her heart is fine also?
