Briggs ate liquid paper!!
Question: Darn dogs!! Or maybe the cat??? Hmmm....My hubby called me at work.. it seems as though that pesky little Connor cat decided that he doesn't much like the "Briginator" (that's what we call Briggs sometimes ) I had white out on top of the fridge, stupid me thinking that was a safe spot.... the cat climbed up there and knocked it down into the awaiting mouth of my little Briggs. Hubby - watching tv has no idea what's going on around him (figures!! ) Finally gets up and sees white out all over the floor, upon inspection sees that Briggs has some in her mouth!!! He immediately calls the vet and asked what he should do... the vet said to stay calm and watch her closely, she should be fine. He gave my hubby his home number incase she had some symptoms - like walking into walls and such!! I'm freaking out!! The vet tells us that she should be fine - he's seen dogs that have eaten entire tubes of modeling glue and survived.. that makes me fell a little better, but should I be very concerned? Answer: If it makes you feel any better, Oliver consumed a *brand new* tube of mascara (the expensive kind too, of course :( ) and he survived quite nicely. Vet also was not concerned. I think I was more concerned about how expensive he has become of late, than the actual consumption (grumbling under breath that a little discomfort may not have hurt the little bugger and may have, in fact, helped..... Here is a list of the things he has "eatten" over the last couple of months:
And, to make it worse, he has done all these things when I was home..... Seems to sneak off and sample things to protest me being home and him not being outside ! Just be happy it was only liquid paper!! Michelle Answer: OMG liquid paper and mascara hahaha! Sadie's fancy is shoes, emery boards and kleenex (used of course) The most unforgettable was my previous dog when he was young gobbled up an entire container (large one) of vaseline!! He was squeaky clean for a week! LOL Answer: Good, so I don't really have anything to worry about!! She's FINE!!! No symptoms.. This is the most "serious" thing that she ate. I have a house plant (forget the kind right now...) but anyway I came back upstairs from doing laundry and pieces of it were EVERYWHERE!! - Like the movie Daddy Daycare (in the washroom) LMFAO!!! I cleaned it up, called the vet to see if it was toxic for dogs and went along with my business. Came back into the room and find the CAT making a mess of it!!! Here I thought it was Briggs and it had been Connor!!! Mu hubby says that all cats are like the ones in Lady and the Tramp. Always out to get everyone else in trouble!!! LMAO!! Kleenex LUBA, Briggs eats the box - just shreads it, but leaves all the tissue intact sitting on the ground!!! Funny girls!! Answer: Well, reading all these posts gave me a good laugh, thank's guys!!! One thing though,Boy,my cats are good,I have about 20 houseplants and they don't touch them Good Kittys!!! That's what Rosie went after too... the kleenex - and any other paper product she could rip into small pieces and leave all over the house... yup never ate the stuff... just ripped it all up... LOL She will still rip up any food wrappers you leave out, so funny when she does it when I'm out because she still runs to the door all happy to see you, then looks sooooo guilty when you spot it.... it's so hard to pretend your disapointed in her when you just want to laugh at how pitiful she looks Answer: Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
