cat pooping randomly on furniture
Question: I have a 4 year old male cat whom has been neutered. In the last 9 months or so he has been randomly pooping on my bed where he also likes to sleep. At first I thought that he was trying to tell me that his litter box was too dirty so I paid more attention to the litter box. He goes in the litter box but every now and then he would go on my bed so I started keeping my bedroom door closed. Then he began randomly pooping on a futon I have in an empty bedroom. I'm in the process of moving so I packed up the futon and would not allow him to have access to it. Now he cries infront of the bedrooom door or where the futon used to be, then he eventually looks like he is forced to go in the litter box. But there's been times when the litter was just changed and he still poops on furniture where he likes to lay and sleep. Just the other day he pooped on a comforter that I had lying on the couch in my living room (another place he likes to lay). I'm running out of spaces to close off and I don't know whyhe is doing this. I hve another cat a spayed female, aged 3.5 whom he gets along with. Could he be sick? Why does he go in the litter box sometimes bot not others?? Answer: Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
