Kitten has fluid-filled swelling on back
Question: I have a kitten that is not more than a few months old. It has a cold of the right eye which we have been treating, but sometime last night a swelling appeared on its back extending from mid right shoulder blade to the edge of the left one. It's about two inches long, one inch wide, and maybe 1/2 an inch high. It feels like it is completely filled with fluid. The cat does seem to be a little more stressed than usual, but I can't tell if it is the eye cold or the swelling. Does anyone know what this is or how to treat it? Thanks in advance. Answer: you should take your kitten to the vet. Answer: Please take your kitten to the vet immediately!! Keep us posted. Answer: While we love to have new members, we can not diagnose your cat over the internet. You should make an appointment with your vet to find out what is wrong.
