I think that most of the people on here including me are quite sick of hearing about people's pets who are fataly ill and displaying symptoms such as heads collapsing, blood in pee, blood in poop, diareah, vomiting, not being able to walk, and many more things like that. My suggestion is to scrap the idea of posting here if your pet is displaying these symptoms and call the vet. We'll all tell you the same thing, anyways.

Most of us are not vets, and if we were, we still probably could not diagnose over the internet.

yes, i totally agree. the thread title is misleading. i just joined and asked a question all the time believing a vet would be replying.

I did the same thing....then got a little assistance with suggestions, but still thought a vet was going to reply. Call me dumb maybe, but that was what I was looking for in the beginning!

Good point. I'm not sure what it would be called if it wasn't called "Ask the Vet." Even though in the name of it it says to take the pet to the vet if it is displaying certain symptoms, you could think that a real vet might diagnose your pet, and suggest what medicin he/she should take. I'm not sure though, I think that since there are only a few vets on this forum who don't come on very often, the name should be changed.
