Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Question: My kitten had ear mites 2 months ago. We took him to the vets and she prescribed the proper medication for him. I noticed he had some blood on his paw this morning, but quickly realized the blood was not coming from his paw. I immediatley searched him thouroughly and found that the blood was coming from a cut on his ear. He had, in the last week started to scratch again, I didn't think much about it until I saw the blood. He has an appointment to see the vet on thursday. My question is: what causes ear mites and how can we avoid anymore infections? Answer: Ear mites can sometimes be stubborn, and it can take more than one treatment to get rid of them. The vet may want to flush out his ears as well as give you drops to use. That should do it, unless of course he is going outside. Answer: If you have other pets, you should check their ears as well. They can get reinfected easily by playing with other animals with mites. Answer: Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
