Question:
I have a 12 week old golden retreiver. About two weeks ago (a day after he had an allergic reaction to a vaccination) we noticed a yellow discharge from the end of his penis. He also had about a dozen yellow pustules on and around his groin area. We took him to our vet and he put him on antibiotics and a hexedene shampoo. The shampoo seems to have worked as he has no more pustules. However, the discharge is the same if not worse. It seems to come out afer he urinates. I have never had a male dog before but I have been told that some discharge is normal. But every time he urinates? The pustules also make me concerned.
