Question:
My 6 year old sheltie has a couple spots around his neck where there is no hair and on the hairless areas brown patches have appeared that look like the liver spots that appear on older people and I do not know what is the cause of it or what it is

hrm i have no idea what those could be... maybe an allergic reaction to something? Eat anything out of the ordinary? I would get it checked out Asap... i dont know when the last time a vet actually replied to a question on here.. not in the last month anyway.. so go get him checked out :]

My sheltie had the same problem. Vet put him on Thyroid medicine(its very inexpensive) due to Hypothyroidism. Worked out great. Sounds like the exactly the same problem.
