neuterd
Question: i heard that if you get your dog neuterd it becomes scared very easily and becomes kind of "girlish"..is htis true and what is the youngest age at which a dog should get neutered Answer: I don't know who told you this, but it's not true. Neutering only stops behaviors caused by the hormone testosterone. That means your will not be constantly looking for females to breed, or other males to fight. It will also prevent the possibility of testicular cancer. Many people have different opinions on the age to neuter, but 6 months is usually a good time. The younger the dog, the easier the operation is on them. Just curious, but what would "girlish" behavior be like? Answer: You really need to get a book on rotti;s,that is alot of dog for someone without alot of knowledge on them. Answer: Good point Heidi, Rottweilers can be difficult, I don't own but family members have... they are considered vicious dogs... be we know what that means!! BIG SUCK!!! I would pick up Rottweilers for Dummies - and I am not saying that you're dumb, they are just god books. They explain everything and anything about the breed, health and habits! Research more about the breed. There are great forums that you can visit specifically for rottis. There are people there that can help out by sharing their wealth of knowledge about the breed. rottis link forum Answer: Neutering is best done on large and giant breed dogs at around 18 months to 2 years. It has something to do with the joints and bones forming and fusing and there is something that is missing when you neuter. Do not take this as a post meaning do not neuter because this is not about that at all. I am for neutering and spaying and I feel as a responsible owner you must do this. It also helps to prevent testicular cancer as someone stated above. Answer: This person sounds really young to be having a rotti,do your parents not participate or did they just get you a dog cause that is what some parents do to make there kid happy???I had one when i was about 20,that is alot alot alot of dog for a kid...
