Question:
I have an twelve year old maltese whose health is declining quickly. The newest problem is he is continually sneezing. There is actually discharge when he sneezes. Should I just wait out the sneezing or should he be seen by a vet? Thanks!

Hi ivory,

Continual sneezing....like all day every few seconds....this sounds more serious.

If it's more occasional sneezing .......I could be a cold I'd wait a day or 2 if there are no other problems.

If it continues past that I'd definitely bring him in.


But you have to be the best judge....if your pet really looks sick and uncomfortable...bring him in sooner rather than later.
