Question:
i just got a puppy from a couple who live out in the woods. on the way home i noticed swelled bites on her lower lip. could this be normal?? will it go away?? Andi

Swollen bite marks? That doesnt seem to be normal.. well actually it isnt normal. Could it be from other puppies in the litter, or possibly misquito bites?

First thing you should do when you get a new puppy is take it to the vet within 48 hours of getting the him just to make sure everything is okay health wise.

Since you should be taking the puppy to the vet soon, Im sure the vet will be able to tell you what it is and when it will go away... I wouldnt put off going to the vet incase those bites are infected.. he may need to go on some medication.
