Question:
My cocker spaniel is about a year old . She is up to date on all her shots and has even had a shot for kennel cough ,because we adopted another pet from the Animal shelter .We just reciently moved back to Oklahoma from Delaware and for the last few days ,Koko has been sneezing, and sounds congested . :( It's not a bad sneeze, usually just once. Could she just have a cold ,or maybe allergies ? We've had the "new baby" for about a week and a half .. Could the two be connected ? The new puppy and Kokos sneezing and congestion ?? Is there anything I can do , short of taking her to the vets ? Should I be concerned ? Thank you for any and all help ...

Dogs dont' really get "colds" and allergies show up as itching, not sneezing.

She may have a respiratory infection and if so, may need antibiotics.

Lots of unsettled dust where you are? Maybe did you use harmful / toxic chemicals to clean / paint with?

Luba , Yes , there is ALOT of unsettled dust where I live ... I live right in the middle of farming country ... And farmers are doing JUST that , Plowing up their fields ....Could that be Kokos problem and if so , Any ideas how to help her deal with it ... ? The sneezing has stopped alot as has the congestion ....We live right behind 2 large fields with plows going almost all the time right now .... I never thought that might be her problem ..
