Sick AllyCat

Question:
My Cat is one year old and lately has been sleeping and not so active as normal. Today, I took him out of bed to get some food in him but his movements were abnormal. He drank and ate a little (usually eats tons) and seemed slouched over. He tried to jump off the counter and fell down... He only takes small steps and falls over to lay down. He also growels when I pet him down by his stomach, hips, and legs. I don't think that he needs to go to the emergancy room but I might take him into the vet tomorrow.... any advice for my Ally cat?

Answer:
The best advice I can give you is to get him to the emergency vet now. This cat needs help now!

Answer:
You say that he growls when you touch his stomach etc....When was the last time he urinated???????? This cat could be BLOCKED
If he is, he WILL die in terrible pain. Go to the vet now :(

Keep us updated please! and good luck.

Blocked -FLUTD -Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease
The urethra (the passage from the bladder, which urine travels) can become blocked by crystals or mucous plugs, preventing the cat from urinating. The other organs (liver, kidneys) in the body have to work harder because toxins are no being released. The bladder can rupture. The body shuts down.
A blocked cat will become lethargic and show signs of pain. Some vomit, some can't walk properly, some will go back and forth to the litter box straining, making the owner think that he's actually "using his litter box". And some just lay in their litter box or bed dying. This is a horrible death. It is an emergency.
