Cat shaking tail
Question: Hi Everyone, My neutered cat has a tendancy to point his backside at objects in our house and give a tail shake. It looks like marking behaviour to me but he is not spraying. It just looks like he is. I'm guessing this is normal but I'm curious to know if other people's cats do the same type of thing? Thanks Timmy Answer: Yah, he's just going through the motions of marking his territory - just be glad he's not letting loose! Answer: My female does this.Go figure.LOL As LR said,be glad he's not letting loose.LOL Answer: One of our males used to do that all the time. It would freak people out thinking he was spraying in the house. I just laughed and said "No, he is neutered, he just wants to show us that he's still a man and still owns everything around him." Answer: My Rocky does the same, sometimes nothing comes out,but then he'll go for a re-fill in the water-bowl...
