I have a 10 year old cocker spaniel - border collie. He is a house dog. For about the last 2 months he has been having these sneezing fits, like he is trying to get something out of his nose. Well, he sneezes so hard he hits his nose on the ground and sometimes it bleeds. Blood eveywhere till he licks it dry. Other than that he just sounds really congested- like it is hard to breathe thru his nose. Other than that he is still playful, loves to go outside and eats fine.

This could be anything from a foreign body in the nostril to a malignant tumour. What does your vet say it is?

Agree with LR, vet needs to take a look. At very least, it sounds like something is up there that shouldn't be.
