BetterNow

Question:
I previously posted about my dog being sick, which stated him not eating, drinking, lathargic, and a nasty rash, I was extremely concerned about Parvo, altho this was not the case, Altho My dog has gotten better I'm glad to say! And I have come to the conclusion, That what was wrong with my dog has had to come from the application of Frontline! I know I have read all the articles on this and how safe they say it is, But! This was the second dose of the flea medication I have given my dog and the first time he also got sick! vomiting and not eating, As with the second dose, was also vomitting and not eating or drinking but also included the rash all over his skin that was visible, I have no recourse but to believe the Frontline was the culprit! MyNeighbor also spoke with ppl in the hospital where she works that have pets and they too have said after administering the flea product their pets also became ill..and rashed...So how safe is it really I can assure U that I will not use any of these chemical flea medications again!

Answer:
I am glad that you have found out what's causing your dog to get sick. Atleast now, it wont happen again. As for Frontline, I don't believe (and pls correct me if I'm wrong) that we can get it in Canada. Maybe there's a reason for this?

What's the "ingredients" on the box?

Answer:
I use frontline on my dogs and have never had a problem (although the ingredients in Australia may be different). But I'd say that its the same story with frontline as it is with all medications, some dogs have a reaction and some dogs don't. Just like some people are alergic to penicilin and some aren't.
