My 6 year old malamute is losing control of her bowels once or twice a day. These are formed poop, not loose stool. She has torn both of her cruciate ligaments and was seriously lame for about 6 months. After glucosomine chondroitan therapy she walks with me again. It seems like she either doesn't know she needs to go, or that she just can't hold it. She never used to do this ever. I'm getting very worried about her, can you help?

Have the vet check her out. I doubt that the surgery or glucosamine has caused this. Is she happy and healthy otherwise?
