To late for my baby. But want to know!
Question: We had a 12 year old Sheltie. She passed away 6 days ago. I had taken her to the Vet because she would shake when she stood. He said that it was her age. She also was rubbing her nose on the carpet, chewing her paws had a cough, and about a week before she died had a cough. Last Tues. she was running and when she finished she turned and was walking toward me and she started swaying and fell flat on her side. She tried to get up but could not. She was motionless when I got to her and did not respond for about 2 min. We took her to the Vet he did blood work and an xray. He said she had a mass in her chest. She died the next morning. Why? Answer: I am so sorry for your loss {{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}} :( A "mass" would indicate cancer, which is unfortunately something that creeps up on both our beloved pets and ourselves. Sometimes, there are no true "tell tale" symptoms, until it's too late. The blood work probably indicated a cancer of sorts and the x-ray confirmed the location of the mass. It was her time to take the journey home :( Answer: <{{{{HUGS}}}}> So sorry to hear about your loss... but I'm sure she is in a great place now. Answer: Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
