bowel movements
Question: i have a 10 year old cross yorkie who has always been good using the toilet and never messed in the house.she was generally in good health but a little overweight,so our vet put her on a diet of boiled chicken and rice.she eats very well but just recently has had poo problems.one minute she has constipation the next she has a very soft yellow poo with a jelly like substance in it which seems to catch her out.she drinks normally and has very little tit bits.do any of you know what the cause may be? Answer: How long have you been feeding the chicken and rice? This is something that should be fed VERY short term, for stomach upsets. In no way is this a nutritionally complete diet and should never be used long term. Dogs get overweight for the same reason we do - not enough exercise and too much food - so you should be feeding your dog a nutritionally complete food and giving her more exercise.
