Question:
My dog Fonzie is a 7 month old blue nose pitbull. At the current time only 1 of his testicles has dropped. The breeder has told me that it has been common with his specific bloodline that his other testicle may drop as late as 11 months. In the meantime....can somebody suggest some kind of natural alternative that I may give him to get his other testi down. He is the most amazing dog and healthy in every other way. The only suggestion I've gotten so far, is to give him 30c of aurum once a day for 10 days. Please help my one ball wonder!!!!

Your dog's breeder is a very poor one if he continues to breed cryptorchids.

The best thing to do is get him neutered. Undescended testicles can cause problems, including cancer. There is nothing you can give him that will make his testicle drop. This a genetic defect and neutering is the best solution.

This also happen to my 2 Shih Tzu and my Vet told me in some breds it is common. Now my Vet did want to wait to neuter till they were 1 yr incase it does drop on it's own but after one yr wait no longer. The cord that is passes through will close off and no way of dropping after that. Both of my boys were fine after afterwards and one lived to be 13 and the other one Jordie just turned 4. Check with you Vet about how long they think you should wait. Good Luck

thanks for all the input....i will wait until he's a year and then decide what to do. my breeder said she will send me another puppy if necessary but i'm so happy with Fonzie that I pray to the ball Gods every night in hope that the other will appear!!!
