need natural diuretic for kitten
Question: My kitten has a hole in her heart. What I understand is that she is building up fluids either in her lungs or around her heart. If the fluid is in her lungs then a diuretic (lasix) will pull the fluids off (and won't dehydrate her?). However if it's around her heart then there's nothing that can be done and a diuretic will dehydrate her. My vet needs an x-ray so we'll know if the fluid is in her lungs. However, I can't afford an x-ray. So, I need to know if anyone knows of a good (perhaps homeopathic) alternative that I can give her on my own? Perhaps something I can pick up at the health food store. She's 5 months old and 4 pounds. thanks Sandra Answer: Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
