hello my name is sherri and I have a friend that I think he has a very sick cat on his hands. I go to his place every once in awhile and when I walk in the cat usually comes running at me or at least he tells me hello .Well the other day I went to his place the cat never came out and he looks very sick I picked the cat up to cuddle him that was ok but when I put him on the ground his whole body started shaking. He won't eat or even drink and his stomach is hard so I think he can't go to the bathroom he is a really nice cat but it looks like he is really sick I was just wondering if anybody could give me some advise to help this cat I know the owner won't do anything about it I'm just afriad the cat is going to die.

This message is for hoover you replied to the message that I posted well not to worry anymore the owner came home from being away on that weekend and took the cat to the emergency vet and the result was to have the cat put down. The vet said that hehad crystals and was too have surgery but it was too much for the owner so the owner put the cat down the cat was still basically a baby he wasn't even 2 years old. The vet said if he didn't have the surgery the cat would be dead by the morning .
So we all said our goodbyes to the cat and he was put down The owner cried really bad I felt bad but all I kept thinking is if he would have taken the cat to the vet sooner the cat would be here right now .

You should definitely convince your negligent neighbor...not to get any more pets...

This type of animal care is called abuse.

If he should ever get another pet....you can anonymously report him to the SPCA.
It is likely that he will abuse the next pet again.

I wish there were stiffer circumstances for people with no respect for animals.
