HELP!! problems with neuturing?
Question: Hi Guys I'm back from holiday.... I will check in later for the details.....but right now my daughter has a dilema. She got Diesel spayed/neutured on wed last week.... 1. she noticed on friday that diesel was peeing a brownish colour she panicked and called the vet.....the vet responded that was normal and if it continued more than a few days to bring diesel in for a check 2. Deisel seems to have lost control of his bladder now and is peeing immediatly as soon as the urge arises with no notice (unusual behavoir). His insision is red from licking and his ball sack is very red!! I told her to call vet asap to get an appt while I come here to get some thoughts from you all and I will take her today hopefully if she gets an appt if not I will call my vet I want to ask any thoughts on this? Do you think vet could have injured the bladder? If it has resulted in his injury because of surgery should she have to pay for the correction of said surgery? I will check back for any thoughts have to log off so daughter can call with an appt time Answer: Any thoughts ??...has this ever happened to anyone's dog? Our appt is at 10:30 am some advice on what to ask vet would be appretiated Answer: Since neutering is not invasive, I don't see how the bladder could have been touched. Please let us know what it is! Answer: Well back from the vet .....she said the same thing she doesn't go near the bladder to do the op.....she didn't want to give deisel a script for antibiotics because she said there was no showing of infection as of yet.....but COULD be the onset of one because there was blood in the urine, so deisel has to wait until wed and go back if blood is still in the urine.......Is there nothing else to do? maybe I'm just overly cautious but he has had blood in his urine for 4 days now and is having obvious problems? or am I just to anxcious? seems like peeing blood in a humane would get more testing no?
