My 4 year old lab has just started yelping when she walks. She is also holding her left leg up when she walks. She is also breathing heavier. This just started about 30 minutes ago. She is a very active dog and will not relax. Can I giver her anything for pain?

My dog had symptomes like yours, suddenly started crying, when excercising, holding up his right paw, crying and arching his back and breathing heavily. I took him to the emergency vet and they said my dog had pododermatitis. I was just wondering if your vet said something else because I have a feeling it's more thn that.
