We have a 12yr + old golden retriever mix who has cronic diarrhea with some sort of worm and she doesn't even bother going out side or getting up for that matter. Her urine is just an ungodly smelling odor and very dark in color.
She also has started with these spassims that last about 2 minutes. She is not one to go in a car or be put on a leash so she has made very few visits to a vet in her older years. Is it time to just end her suffering and have her put down or is oit the worms thats making her this sick?

It could be the worms and I would get her to the vet. I amsure she is very uncomfortable and it could be very minor but by not seeing the vet it could be getting worse and doesn't need to. There is vets that will make house calls I dont know where you are but in Toronto there is actually a couple and maybe even your own vet if you explain the situation. My vet has done this for older dogs.
