puppy eating house plants
Question: My six month old beagle is chewing on my large house plants when we are away from home or at work. Is there any type of safe repellant to spray on the plants so she will not chew them as these are large floor plants and can not be moved very easily. Answer: You can spray Bitter Apple on them. You can get this at pet stores. Depending on what kind of plants you have, they could be toxic to the puppy. It would be best to move them to another room (gated) until the puppy is older. Answer: My dog did this when I first got him. At first I made sure only to buy non-toxic plants...I've since given up and resorted to plastic..
