Question:
I notices under my cat's chin 2 little pimple-like blacks growths. As I rubbed one of them , the scub came off, and it bled a little. I put polysporin to avoid infection. The next day, the swelling was gone, the scub dark, and fell off too.
Can it be a pimple? Do cats get pimples (from the bowl?)
The vet had not noticed it on the yearly visit one week ago.
I don't really feel like going back and pay for a consultation again just if it is a pimple.m

Yes cats can get pimples or acne. And yes they often do get this from a reation to plastic bowls.

You should swithch to stainless steel bowls.

Thanks for your quick response! Actually I use a ceramic bowl for this cat. I might try the stainless bowl.
I check the "pimple spot " tonight and it is completely gone and the swelling is down too.
