Within the last week we adopted a new puppy. We have a six year old mix breed in the house already. The pup seems to be very healthy but over the past two days our older dog has developed considerable nasal congeston/fluid. She has sporadic sneezng bouts with mucous being expelled from the nostrils. The kennel idciated that they had Kennel cough after we took our dog to visit the new pup. Could she have picked up some other virus/desease while she was in the kennel ? What can be done to treat a conditionlike this ?

Yes it is possible that the dog caught a virus or infection from the kennel.
