Aspirin

Question:
Is it safe to give a dog Aspirin?

Answer:
If memory serves, regular asparin is not good for dogs. Your best bet would be to call your vet and ask.

Answer:
Looked it up on-line and found that aspirin is toxic to animals. As a rule, you should never give human medication to an animal unless your vet approves it.

Out of curiosity, why do you want to give aspirin to your dog? Maybe someone here can help with an alternative.

Answer:
Plain aspirin is fine for dogs to relieve minor pains. What condition do you want to use it for?

A 60 - 80lb dog can have one tablet twice a day.

NO Advil, Tylenol, Ibuprofen!

Answer:
