Constantly drinking water/peeing all over floor and bleeding
Question: My dog is 8 years old, shes a German Shepard and I consider to be in fair/good condition. She receives plenty of exercise (1 1/2 mile walk daily) has been eating a diet dog food mix of pedigree (wet) and a science diet (dry). My dog has began her period and something seems a bit off this time, she has been bleeding less than she usually does on her period, but she drinks alot more and urinates on floor, she has been potty trained for atleast 7 years now, she knows she shouldnt pee on floor but I dont think she can control it now.. I'm wondering if it is serious, and would rather come here first before spending $$$ at the vet to find out it's a normal thing, Please help.. Answer: Hi Could she be pregnant? I would take her to the vet to have her checked out, dogs of this age and not spayed, have a higher incidence of uterine infections and cancer Answer: I highly doubt she is pregant due to the fact i dont think theres a dog that came in and out of my backyard, Cancer huh? I'm surely going to bring her to the vet asap. Answer: Instead, pretend that your dog or cat that is suffering is your mother, father or child. What would you do then? You would take them to a doctor immediately. I think this covers it. Answer: Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
