Question:
We have a 5 month old toy poodle. For the past few days when he lays down for a period of time he limps on his leg when he gets up. After he moves around he doesn't limp as much, or sometimes not at all. When we take him out to run, he moves a bit slower, but he still runs.

It doesn't feel as though there is trouble with his knee. Could this be anything else?

Luxating patellas are very common in toy breeds. I suggest you take him to the vet asap.
