hi
you see my friend who breads cats gave me a kitten
and then when shes old enough we plane to bread her then sell the kittens
and now shes in heat for the first time and its been about a week since she first started and shes still is in heat
she is making the weird noises and acting funny
but she will also gbet on our laps the just pee on us
im wondering how long this will last and why shes doing these things is there a way i can stop her or help her or somthing

the cats we are breeding are going for 2 or 3 k
so they will be takin care of

You think they are strays? Most of them are, but lots of them are Purebred persians, purebred ragdolls etc. etc. Go look on Petfinder.

I can tell you right now NO ONE will pay 2 or 3 k for your unproven cat's bloodlines. NO ONE gives away breeder quality cats of that calaber. Top of the line rare coloured show Persians don't even go for 3 grand. You obviously don't know anything about cats if you have to write this thread about your cat's heat. I really fear for your cats safety, you obviously haven't taken it to a vet or professional to assess if this cat is even healthy enough to breed and lacking genetic problems (such as eye problems, hip problems, hearing problems etc.). Showing once again you are a very poor backyard breeder.

Next time you try and debate with someone, make sure it's not with a professional.

Thats wonderful for you that you are making 3 grand a kitten. Hopefully one day you will realize that breeding is not about making money, it's about PERFECTING a breed. SHOWING the breeds capabilites through producing SHOW QUALITY, HEALTHY, GOOD TEMPARMENTED cats.

Do not think I'm picking a battle with you. However you don't understand what goes on past your little bubble of a money making scheme. The saddest part is you close your eyes to it.

By breeding your cat, you are helping to SLAUGHTER at least 50 cats in shelters.

The topic when from Heat, to Slaughtering. Back to the heat thing. I have raised 4 cats from kittens. I was told by a local vet that the best way to keep them from showing these "wierd" behaviors while in heat is to Stimulate them (if they are female) with a Q-Tip. I havent tried this (all of mine are spayed...thanks Bob Barker j/k) But it should work.

my eyes arnt shut to anything for they can not be shut to it if they were never opened to it.
