Question:
Has anyone ever had a dog with a pinched nerve in it's back?? Copper has been to the vet and had his hips and spine x-rayed. We thought he might have arthritis because he has arthritis in his front shoulder. Luckily, his bones and joints look perfect but he does have a pinched nerve. The vet gave him a medication called MSM. It's a powder and he was on it for three weeks. He seems to be doing much better now!!

I was just wondering if anyone else has had this with their pet and what did your vet recommend for treatment. He just finished his meds so I'll have to wait a week or so to see if he is really better.

MSM and Glucosamine (sp?) seems to be really the thing now. I understand they work the best together. I've seen it for joints, don't know about pinched nerves.
