Question:
I am not a frequent member of this post however I have come across something a little weird while washing my cat.

Around/exiting his anal area are two black objects. I attempted to remove them with a dry tissue while washing him, thinking it was simpy dry feses. However they seem pretty attached. The cat didn't make a sound however he didn't favor me tampering around his rear end. Thinking it may be worms I checked his litter box. I didn't see anything odd in his "droppings" I don't want to give him worm medicine if he doesnt' have worms.

The objects themselves look black, but as I attempted to remove them I noticed white portions behind the black. They are horizontal one on the left and one on the right respectively.
Any suggestions

Good idea to have the vet take a look at it... doesn't sound like worms.. wouldn't pick at it or fuss with it not knowing what it is.
