cat lympnocitosis
Question: Hi, I was hoping an exper or others who have had a similar experience can help me. My lovely cat went for his normal annual checkup and the blood test showed white blood cell count of 33.7...that is apparently very high...the result also mentions: few stimulated lymphocytes present small and mature cells? he had also lost weight The vet mentioned that my baby probably has cancer but they will do another test to check the levels. My cat has always been an indoor cat and been vaccinated for lukemia virus as well. Can he possibly be fighting an infection? Any help is appreciated. I am extremely upset and sad. Thanks!
