Question:
A stray cat I took in gave birth to 5 kittens two days ago. I've noticed fresh blood on the carpets after she's been there. I'm new with cats and I'm wondering if it is common for a cat to spot bleed approximately two days after having a litter?

Answer:
Cats will sometimes bleed after giving birth and a tiny bit for a day after that, but I dunno about 2 days later.
I'm not saying it's abnormal, I just don't know, because none of the cats I've had give birth bled any more than a day after.
If it's just tiny spots of blood though I don't think I'd be worried yet unless she was acting sickly.
If the bleeding progresses though, or doesn't go away, I'd have a vet check her out.
