Question:
I have a 2 1/2 month old puppy (pit bull) and he sleeps alot, he eats fine now and drinks water fine as well. When i play with him hes very hyperactive. When we are not doing anything, he will sleep all day, non stop sleeping. Is this a bad thing or is this just normal?

Puppies can sleep 16 hours a day... As long as he's got some good play energy in him and he's not sick, he should be ok.

Before he was sick and he vomitted and didnt want to eat. But today he's much better but just sleeps alot.

Ahh, it's normal, my 3/4 month old pup does the same thing everyday. Puppies are like babies. Babies sleep alot, then so should puppies. lol.

Yes it is normal for puppies to sleep a lot, but if your dog was sick and throwing up it could be lethargic and at that point a trip to the vet might be needed. How are things going?
