My friend has a 2yr old female jack russel, that sheads a lot of hair all year round, is this normal? She has been on vitamins ... bob martins ... if any of you know it ... for about 5 months .... If this is not normal, does anyone have any advice that i can pass on ....

Vitamins are fabulous but what kind of food is the dog eating? A good quality kibble goes a long way to help with good coat health.

I agree. My dad's jack loses a ton of fur if he's not on the right food. Now, he's on a fish-based food and the shedding has nearly stopped.
