Rear Leg twitching
Question: My 2 year old miniature dachsund, Heidi, has had a problem with her left rear leg. It will start to "twitch" on its own. It is the same type of twitching that occurs when you rub a dog in certain spots and hit those nerves. Any advice as to why this twitching may be occurring without any one touching her at the time. Thank you E Answer: Have you talked to your vet about it? Answer: Not yet. It has been going on for about a week now. Answer: I recall reading in other posts that doxies are very prone to spinal and nerve issues ~ this is really something you need to go to the Vet about. from other posts , I seem to remember that issues like these can be life threatening. Leg shaking/ twitching is also a sign of dysplasia. You dog may be in a lot of pain. Please update us after your Vet visit. Answer: Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
