fiv
Question: hi all. need your advice. i'm involved in the care of a feral colony. we recently trapped one of the cats for neutering, and while at the vet's it was discovered that he was fiv positive, and not very well at all (suffering). the best option was to put him down we are wondering now what we should use to clean the raccoon cage we trapped him in to ensure it is safe to use for the other cats, as he was bleeding from the nose while in it. help! trac Answer: I'm not sure, maybe the vet would suggest something you could clean the cage with. I would also like to know the answer to this because I will be trapping my feral guy soon to have him fixed. Answer: A reasonably strong bleach solution should do it, then RINSE many many times, until there's not even a trace of a bleach smell left. Poor guy, I'm glad you were able to put him out of his misery. Answer: Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
