I Have A Chesapeake Bay Retriever, He Is About 8 Years Old. He has always been a very muscular dog. Lately he has been getting terribly skinny. He eats all the time and when ever he gets energetic he stumbles like he's drunk and falls down. A few minutes later he's fine. I'm afraid my dog is dying. We dont have the money to take him to the vet so i thought this site might be able to tell me what he might have and wether it is life threatening.

I'm so sorry to hear this about your dog. I really hope it's not too serious. The one thing about this site is that there aren't any vets here, only pet loving people so no one could tell you what is wrong with your dog except a vet. Is there anyway you can borrow money from friends or a family member or apply for creditcare through your vet? There are also vets that will allow a payment plan. I wish we could be more help here, but we can't. The best thing would be to find a vet.
